Do you have a comprehensive picture of your current finances as well as your financial goals for the future? Have you put a strategy in place to achieve those goals? There are a number of elements involved in creating a balanced financial plan. Having a trustworthy financial team or advisor from which to gain resources and advice can go a long way. In this webinar, FinDec’s CIO and CEO will talk you through the initial steps to take and key things to keep in mind when developing a financial plan.
Michael Edwin Lee is the president and Chief Executive Officer of FinDec and has been employed with the company in some capacity for nearly 25 years. Michael is most passionate about helping clients achieve goals they thought were not achievable. Specifically, he provides the resources to FinDec advisors so they can deliver and help clients reach aspirational financial goals. He loves to mentor people and provide leadership and direction in their careers. Michael’s leadership skills were sharpened through years of serving his country. He obtained the rank of Major, spending 13 years as a military police officer in the United States Army after graduating from college. He also served three years as a civilian law enforcement officer. Michael holds a BS in history from CSU Stanislaus and a Master’s in business and organizational security management. He is passionate about his family and living life to the fullest.
Evan Harstein, ChFC, CLU, is a Financial Advisor with FinDec.
Evan is the newest addition to the leadership team, joining FinDec in 2020 after nearly 20 years in the financial services industry. Based out of FinDec’s Scottsdale office, he is working with clients in that state and across the country to continue expanding FinDec’s footprint.
Professionally, Evan is most passionate about helping people obtain financial peace of mind. On the personal side, his passion is helping his family and friends live their most abundant lives.
Evan has invested a lot of time, money and effort into becoming the best at what he does. This includes not just his university education but post-graduate education, which is enhanced with industry-mandated requirements to ensure he is up-to-date on new legislation and strategies.
He is consistently helping clients answer questions like “Do I have enough saved?”, and “What should I do with this money?”, or “How can I save for my kids’ college?”, and many more like that. Working through some of the most challenging financial questions people face, Evan is often complimented on how easy he is to work with — whether he is solving problems or just doing what needs to be done, he is always ready and willing.
Evan’s specialties include sales, public speaking, insurance, pension plans, non-qualified retirement plans, investments, employee benefits, marketing and CRM.
While he loves what he does and feels an incredible sense of accomplishment for what he’s already done in his career, Evan says his biggest accomplishment is easily his two children. They make him proud every day.
Evan holds a BA in media arts from the University of Arizona along with Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant certifications from The American College.
